Artist Statements
The reason for creating a piece like this is because I wanted to do a self-portrait with a mixture of the things I'm fond of. I'm fond of wolves because they are an endanger species. They are often misunderstood because the way the media portray them as rabid or violent for attacking local pet. The reason they are attacking local pets is there habitat and food are being taking away.
The reason for doing a galaxy is because I'm fond of the stars and the way they look. They are billions of light years of way but they sometime seem so close to us at the same time.
The medias I used to create this piece is watercolor paper/paint, and a paint marker. I used the paint marker to create the galaxy and the little tiny stars in the background of my piece. The watercolor paint I let run together by using wet on wet paint to create a more realistic star galaxy.
My Passion Self-Portrait
3D Heart
The reason for creating this piece is because I was bored at home so I decided to draw something to occupy my mind. I went on youtube to look for things to draw and I seen how to draw a 3D Heart.
The medias I used to create this piece is sketch paper, pencil, and color pencils. I used the pencil to sketch the heart and the paper like torn heart. Then I used the color pencils to highlight and color the heart. It took me a total of 45 minutes.
Live, Love, Laugh Painting
The reason for creating this piece is because my sister wanted me to paint her something for her apartment. I did this piece on Christmas Day and it only took me 1 hour.
The medias I used was Tempura paint and a canvas. I painted my whole canvas black and then added red, blue, purple, and a little white everywhere. Than I used white paint to sprinkle the stars everywhere, and add Live, Love, Laugh after I got through.
Realistic Butterfly
The reason for creating this piece is because I had to draw representive drawing for my English class. It took me an hour to do since I had to take breaks. The butterfly was fun to do and a little bit challenging to do.
The medias I used to create this piece was color pencils, markers, sharpies, and pencil. I used a blue marker for the base coat of the butterfly wings, the color pencils on top of the wings, sharpies on the buttterfly, and the pencil to create the butterfly shadow.
Portrait
The reason for creating this piece is because we had to do a portrait using the value scale. It was the first project we did in art class. It was fun and it took a lot of shadowing.
The medias I used to create this piece is pencil and paper. I map out the picture and than folded the image I chose to match the paper. Then I started to draw in each square. Finally I erase my grid lines and shaded in my paper.
Element of Design
The reason for creating this piece is to get a better understanding of the elements of design. It is connected to Principles of Design piece I did. They were both art projects I had to do. They were not my favorite piece of art work.
The medias I used to create this piece is color pencils, sharpies, and a pencil. I used the sharpie to outline the Deadmau5 head and to color in the music note/piano keys.
Principle of Design
The reason for creating this piece is to get a better understanding of the elements of design. It is connected to Element of Design piece. This was not my favorite piece of art work.
The medias I used to create this piece were the same I used to create The Element of Design piece.
Hillside Home School
The reason for creating this piece by Frank Lloyd Wright is because it help me get a better understanding of oil pastel. This piece was hard to do because oil pastel is my weakness.
The medias I used to create this piece is Oil Pastel. I blend the oil pastel to create the scenery and some of the building. I had to keep adding layers on top of layers to make it really pop and to add some texture to it.
3D Graffiti
The reason why I created this piece is because I had got done doing my tiki clay sculpture. It took me an hour to get it the way I wanted it to be.
The medias I used was a pencil. I used the value scale to shade in certain parts of my piece. I used my finger to shade in certain parts of the piece.
The reason why I created this piece is because I wanted to create Expressionism in my piece. It was alot of fun to do. It took about 1-2 weeks.
The medias I used was Acrylic paint. I mix colors to create the wolf fur and the Galaxy background. I splattered paint to create shooting stars in the sky.

The medias I used was a sponge, cutting/piercing tools, and my pencil. I used the sponge to make the sculpture smooth. I used the cutting tools to cut through clay, and the piercing tool to make indentations. I used my pencil to draw designs, and textures
